Hey everyone! It has been way too long since I have been able to update with what has been happening. This year has been nothing short of incredible here in California. Jesus continues to save, transform and impact so many. I have been personally struck with raw hunger for Jesus this year. Something inside of me has become desperate for more of God. There is so much to discover of the heart of Jesus, and I want to know new depths to His love!
In our community here in Huntington Beach, we have grown so close it feels like family. There is deep commitment to Jesus, what He is leading us to do, and to each other. Also, we are about to double in size in just a week! We have been working hard to prepare for a large increase in our community. We are looking forward to having more creativity, more of a presence on campuses and a growing community of radical followers of Jesus.
As far as campuses go, we had a large campus tour in the Spring called the March to Mayday. We held one night events on over 20 campuses. Our hope was to inspire believers on every campus to work in unity with each other to know Jesus, love each other and reach the lost with the Gospel. Many campus ministries were represented throughout the tour and about 4,000 or more students gathered over the course of the tour. At our first stop in Norcal at the University of California Berkeley, a group of students gave their lives to Jesus as about 1,000 gathered outside for worship.
The momentum of the tour carried into our summer training school called 21 Project. 160 students joined our community in Pasadena for 21 days. The goal was to encounter Jesus for 21 days while we each were trained in specific areas each afternoon. Our corporate mornings included teachings on the importance of the Word, living like Jesus, and powerful times of worship. Each afternoon we would split into 6 different tracks: Plowmen, High School Plowmen, Toolshed, Artisans, Mavericks and Viral. Each track can be better explained if you check out 21projct.com... In short, there was training for College and high school leaders, musicians, entrepreneurs, artisans and community leaders. By the end of the school, we were all blown away at personal revelation of Jesus and what was possible with a small number of committed people. Jesus really is changing America, and it is possible to see whole cities changed. The musicians had a musical showcase with about 20 of the best songs written over the three weeks, and it was so encouraging to see the creativity and the excellence that they performed with after just 21 days. There were events planned to reach campuses. One last highlight, check out this video the artisans created to capture what was happening.

Last little note. I am going to update my website! I am going to make it easier to connect with me, hear what is happening, and hopefully you will be encouraged. Much love and joy in Jesus!
